About Me
Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Amanda and I started studying web development to broaden my knowledge. I am a collector of experiences, and it does not just stop with my life experiences but also my education and careers. I love learning knew things and would continue on in school forever if that was even remotely feasible. To help with this need to learn and expand my world, I read as much as I can. I have an extensive library of books of all kinds, and I continue to add to the shelves as much as possible. Along with my extensive library I have a pretty large media collection thanks in large part to my husband, who adds album collecting to my book and movie hoard. We love watching movies together and since we would need multiple subscriptions to even come close to satisfying our many tastes (which includes everything from Lord of the Rings to Friday the 13th), we have started to add to our collection of DVDs and Blue Rays more seriously. In this constant and somewhat impulsive endeavor, we have found ourselves forgetting what we wanted to look for in the secondhand shops we frequent and have also found that we have purchased multiple duplicate copies, since we forgot we owned certain films or tv series. Due to these flaws in our quest to be able to watch almost anything from home, I decided to create a website to track our ever-expanding library of media to help keep our brains and wallets together, because we have absolutely no intention of stopping. Now go forth, I hope that this project will help others to begin this quest; may your shelves never sag and you find the movie you’ve been looking for but can’t remember the name of.
